Many developments in and around Calgary require detailed landscape drawings and strict developer guidelines to be followed and submitted prior to the landscaping starting on their homes. Several developers also require third parties to be involved in the planning such as a water management company or a developer land management company. Obtaining grade compliance is another key component that needs to be documented and submitted prior to initiating a client’s project. These items can be very daunting and time consuming for the client to deal with. We have extensive experience in these areas and help our clients meet and exceed all required components of the process.

Concrete Curbing

Concrete curbing is both attractive and cost effective. By using our automated curbing process we can compliment any landscape project quickly and permanently. With a variety of colors and styles we are able to achieve a professional and maintenance free look for your yard.

Design and Drawings

As part of our complete project management we offer our clients onsite design consultations. After meeting with our clients we design a project for them that fits their lifestyle and budget needs. Once the design is approved by the client we have our designer create a professional scaled drawing that meets or exceeds any builder or developer requirement. We use state of the art CAD software to produce accurate and detailed drawings for the project. These drawings give the client an ability to see the yard as it will look once finished.

Firepits and Fireplaces

We supply and install firepits and fireplaces for our clients as well. It can be as simple as a pre-built fire bowl or as elaborate as a custom built natural rock fireplace. We can have wood burning models or we can run natural gas to supply a gas fire pit or patio heater. This is a great way to accentuate an outdoor living space.

Natural Rock Retaining Walls

At Twisted Rock we like to use natural materials in most of our work. As part of this philosophy we use natural stone blocks to form our retaining walls. Most of the rock is sourced from the mountains in British Columbia. The rock that comes from that region has excellent coloring and lichen formations throughout the layers. The brown and gold tones highlight any yard perfectly. We can also use rock from local sites if the client prefers.

Snow Removal

As part of our year round operations we take on snow removal during the winter. We have the equipment and the personnel to take on any size project and specialize in large commercial sites. We do pedestrian clearing, parking lot plowing and haul out services.

Water Features

A water feature can add an excellent backdrop to a tranquil backyard setting. The sound of the running water cascading over the rocks drowns out the noisy city sounds. If you like the look of a river but don’t want the water then a dry river bed makes a perfect option for you.
